The annual “Art in the Park” is this weekend, May 14th & May 15th, from 10am – 5pm.  It’s a fine arts exhibition and sale featuring, according to the ad in The Wednesday Journal, over 100 participating artists!  There will be live music by “Patchouli”, and “The Navy Band” is celebrating its’ 100th Anniversary, so The Great Lakes Brass Quartet will perform on Saturday, May 14th at 10:30 am.  There will be numerous food vendors, and the kids will have their own activity table.  If you visit www.westsuburbanartistsguild.org , you’ll find all of the details.  The event takes place at Mills Park at the corner of Pleasant Street and Home Avenue (217 S. Home).
