Oak Park and River Forest High School students were treated to a lighthearted surprise when teachers, faculty, even district superintendent Steven Isoye, suddenly rushed the basketball court for a choreographed “flash dance” routine at this afternoon’s spirit rally.

Everyone was in on the plan. Well, everyone except the unsuspecting student body who had watched a quick game of hoops, a dance routine, a musical performance and a video presentation before the big moment.

The video, a student production called “Teach Me How to Huskie”, showcased a dance move popular among students but when it ended, teachers and other administrators, one-by-one, joined student dancers as they performed the routine in unison much to the surprise of students sitting in the surrounding stands.
