After reading about Frank Limentato moving to Frank’s Barber Shop in Elmwood Park and the writer lamenting that Elmwood Park was the last bastion of barbers, I had to write to inform you of a Frank’s Barber Shop in Oak Park at 6134 W. Roosevelt Road. This Frank is Frank Scarpiniti of Bensenville. Frank has been in this building for 43 years and has the stories to prove it. He’s a great guy who keeps an eye on the neighborhood and has a kind word for anyone who stops in. We should set up a meeting of the Franks and take a photo for posterity!
