Rochelle Smith of Oak Park is a consultant to “celebrity chefs and hospitality developers.” On Feb. 21, she took her consulting to a new level as she and longtime beau, celebrity chef Charlie Trotter, tied the knot at the One & Only Resort in the Maldives (located somewhere in the Indian Ocean).
According to a tidbit in the Sun-Times, March 1, Smith met Trotter in 2000 at a benefit for Julia Child. Companions for seven years, it is the second marriage for both.
No word on whether they plan to live in Oak Park.
