Minor with firearm

Oak Park police arrested a minor last week who was found to be in possession of a defaced firearm, according to police.

Police arrested a “female juvenile from Chicago” the evening of Oct. 19 in the 700 block of South Boulevard. Police were arresting her for being in possession of stolen property when they found the firearm, according to police.

The minor has been charged with aggravated possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, according to police.

These items were obtained from Oak Park’s Police Department reports dated Oct. 14 – Oct. 21 and represent a portion of the incidents to which police responded.
