District 90 teachers and community members participated in an informational picketing session Sept. 30 in front of the district administration building a few hours prior to the final teacher contract mediation session between the district and the River Forest Education Association.
“Informational picketing is meant to reach the public as well as the district,” RFEA representatives Cindy Cranell and Lauren Baiocchi said. “We want our community and our administration to understand how important it is to reach a fair contract as soon as possible.”
