Alexandra (Shura) Gehring, 26, died on Nov. 23, 2024, the victim of an apparent drug overdose. Born in Ukraine, she was one of three daughters adopted by Thomas and Cathy Gehring. She resided in Oak Park, with her sister Tatiana Gehring, father Thomas Gehring, and Grandmother Betty Gehring. She loved going for long walks, had a passion for music, and loved animals.
