I am writing to share a community event that combines music with a meaningful cause. On July 12, a benefit concert will be held at the Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park to raise funds for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago.

88keystocure is a youth led Illinois-based nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through music. Through our benefit concerts and other fundraising events, like craft fairs, we have raised over $60,000 for various charitable causes, such as the American Society for Suicide Prevention, the Lurie Childrens Hospital NICU, and the Monster Education Foundation. This year, our benefit concert focuses on fundraising for Lurie Children.

Lurie Childrens Hospital provides lifesaving care to thousands of children and families throughout the Chicago area each year. Many families rely on its physicians, nurses, researchers, and support staff during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through this concert, we hope to support the hospital’s mission while bringing members of our community together through music.

The event will feature local student musicians who are volunteering their time and talents to make a difference for children in need.

We invite members of the Oak Park and River Forest communities to join us on July 12 at the Nineteenth Century Club.

Thank you for helping spread the word about this community effort.
