Beautifully broken,
So little bespoken,
As she smiles at you through the pain.
My heart feels it,
It starts to break,
Her heart gently stops.
Soft breaths start to fade,
She looks at you and holds your hand,
So cold, tender and blue.
I wish her well,
“Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I love you too.”
Her eyes close,
She’s in my heart now,
Phenomenal woman.
That. Is. You.
