Patrick V. Cullen, 49, died suddenly May 10, 2024 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Born and raised in River Forest, he attended St. Vincent Ferrer grammar school and Oak Park and River Forest High School. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, he served as a chef in various capacities — as a personal chef traveling with clients, as well as the owner of food trucks in Wisconsin. He was known for his energetic personality and his culinary creations.
Patrick is survived by his children, Patrick “PJ”, Riley Ann and Hunter Cullen; his parents, Frank J. and Virginia (nee Gaul) Cullen; his siblings, Elizabeth “Liz” (David) Langlois, Catherine “Cathy” (William) Kane, and Frank J. “FJ” Jr. (Kathleen) Cullen.
A visitation and funeral Mass were held at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in River Forest on May 22. Services were held in Wisconsin on May 23. A private family interment took place at the Cullen family plot in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
