One Saturday, Oct. 3, a group of kids, age 6-10, on the 700 block of Clarence (and a pal from East Avenue) held a remarkable dance performance for this year’s block party.  The Oak Park Dancers, as they named their troupe, had been rehearsing for weeks on the front lawns, creating the entire choreography themselves and perfecting amazing gymnastic and cool pop music moves. Their goal in doing this was to raise money to help victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. They raised $155 in tips, which they’re donating to Beyond Hunger (formerly Oak Park Food Pantry). Everyone on the block can hardly wait to see what they create next year!
