According to Oak Park Eats friend, photographer and coffee maven,Tina Harle, Fairgrounds Coffee was worth the wait. She posted the following to her coffeeshoppark Instagram account today:
“It’s all in the details and Fairgrounds has the details down from the creative light fixtures, cozy and hip space to the smooth and delicious coffee with a wide selection and yummy food. So excited to see @ourfairgrounds open in Oak Park today! The place was packed with people but service was smooth and fast. I will share more on my next trip there. But take a peek at their feed to see more. Welcome to the neighborhood! ☕ I am sure I will be spending many late afternoons and early evenings here! Such a great option for after school pick up when I definitely need a pick me up!

Oh in case you are interested closest park is Scoville Park with @oakparklibrary and a playground along the west side of park. One of my favorites here for preschool age! “
