Conga Cuban Cafe celebrated a grand opening on September 21.

A new Cuban hot spot has arrived in the Depot District. Conga Cuban Cafe, located at 6836 W Windsor Ave, is a family owned and operated cafe serving up authentic Cuban and Puerto Rican dishes as well as coffee drinks. Small bites include empanadas, maduros, tostones and more. Conga Cuban Cafe has a full line of sandwiches that include such traditional sandwiches as el jibarito (grilled chicken or steak flanked by crispy, fried green plantains instead of bread), Cubano (roasted pork, ham and swiss cheese with pickles and mustard melds two tasty cuts of pork) and ropa vieja (shredded beef, with bell peppers, onions, and tomato sauce). They will unveil their breakfast menu this fall. A ribbon cutting was held in partnership with the City of Berwyn and the Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) on September 21, 2017.
