The Oak Park and River Forest and Fenwick High School boys soccer teams renewed their rivalry during Saturday’s annual crosstown clash. The matchup always produces highly competitive soccer and attracts a huge turnout of fans for both teams.
On the field, Fenwick looked settled on the ball during various portions of the match but the host Huskies ultimately earned a hard-fought 2-0 victory. Andrew Barkidjija and Brody Bliss each scored a goal and goalkeeper Kel Nelson notched the shuout for the Huskies.
