Donald A. Rinnan, 88, of Oak Park, died on Sept. 24, 2017. Born in Oak Park on Aug. 18, 1929, he was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church and a longtime scout leader in the Oak Park and River Forest area.
Donald Rinnan was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Rinnan; brother of the late Robert (Barbara) Rinnan; uncle of Paul (Sandra) Bergersen and Laura Bergersen; and the great-uncle of Robert and Michael Bergersen.
A visitation and service were held on Sept. 22 at Grace Lutheran Church, followed by private interment. The family appreciates memorials to the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 66, c/o Grace Lutheran Church, 7300 Division St., River Forest, 60305.
