Aggravated kidnapping arrest
Ricky Fisher, 31, of the 7100 block of South Normal Boulevard in Chicago, was arrested in the 300 block of West 64th Street in Chicago at 7 p.m. on May 18, and charged with aggravated kidnapping, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of aggravated battery, which occurred in the 800 block of South Gunderson Avenue. No additional information was provided by police.
According to the Cook County Sheriff’s website, Fisher is being held on $750,000 bond at Cook County Jail.
Battery
An Oak Park woman was the victim of battery in the 700 block of Lake Street at 11:10 a.m. on May 20. A teenager reportedly approached the woman from behind in an alley and slapped her buttocks with his right hand.
The teenager then fled westbound on foot toward Oak Park Avenue and then southbound toward North Boulevard.

Criminal trespass to motor vehicle arrest
Four Chicago teenagers were arrested in the 5800 block of West Erie in Chicago at 10:34 p.m. on May 20 and charged with criminal trespass to a motor vehicle. One of the teens was 19, another 18 and the other two were underage.
All four were transported to the police department, processed and the two juveniles were released to their parents. The other two were released on bond.

Burglary to motor vehicle
A white 2013 BMW X5 was burglarized in the 700 block of Harrison Street sometime between 9:30 p.m. on May 15 and 4:43 a.m. on May 16.
The offender broke out the rear passenger side window to gain entry to the vehicle and then ransacked the vehicle. Nothing was taken but the estimated loss due to damage was $1,050.

Motor vehicle theft
- A gray 2016 Mazda CX-5 was stolen from the parking lot of Enterprise CarShare at 715 South Blvd. sometime between 11 p.m. on May 2 and 6 a.m. on May 13. The loss is an estimated $16,000.
- A gray 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe was stolen from the parking lot of Enterprise CarShare in the 800 block of South Euclid sometime between 6:47 a.m. on May 12 and 9:07 a.m. on May 13. The loss is an estimated $22,000.

Attempted motor vehicle theft
A beige Chrysler Town & Country was the target of an attempted motor vehicle theft in the 800 block of South Maple Avenue sometime between 10:15 p.m. on May 15 and 11:34 a.m. on May 16.
The offender gained entry by means of using an unknown tool to the passenger’s door lock. Once inside, the offender peeled the steering column in an effort to hotwire the vehicle. The estimated loss is $1,500.

These items, obtained from the Oak Park and River Forest police departments, came from reports, May 12-18, and represent a portion of the incidents to which police responded. Anyone named in these reports has only been charged with a crime and cases have not yet been adjudicated. We report the race of a suspect only when a serious crime has been committed, the suspect is still at large, and police have provided us with a detailed physical description of the suspect as they seek the public’s help in making an arrest.
