The recent blizzard, which started Saturday and subsided Monday morning, brought more than 19 inches of snow to the Chicago area, the Chicago Tribune reported. The blizzard was Chicago’s fifth largest snow storm.

Both District 97 and District 200 schools were closed Monday due to weather condition. District 90 schools had a late start.

Oak Park’s emergency parking plan went into effect Feb. 1 due to severe weather.
