Oak Park police said a man was robbed at gunpoint by two men Friday as he walked to his car in the 600 block of Highland Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

The unknown men approached the victim, displayed a black handgun and pushed him against the front passenger door of his vehicle, according to police reports.

They removed a money clip from the victim’s pocket containing $40, a driver’s license and credit cards.

The men were described by police as both black, around age 20 and around 6′ tall. One wore a grey sweatshirt, black pants and a black beanie-style hat. The other wore a red hooded sweatshirt and tan pants. Both offenders fled northbound on Highland Avenue then eastbound on Adams Street, police said.
