Triton College sells former Nuevos Horizontes building to Village of Melrose Park

River Grove, Ill. – Triton College has announced that it has sold its Melrose Park building that formerly housed the college’s Nuevos Horizontes community center to the Village of Melrose Park.

As part of the sale, the college will continue to maintain a presence at the building for the next 22 years with an informational office for outreach purposes that will provide community members with information about Triton’s programs and services to further encourage higher education as a path toward a bright future. The business hours of Triton’s outreach office are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. 

Nuevos Horizontes’ courses and services, which include English as a Second Language and GED preparation courses, were fully transitioned onto Triton College’s River Grove campus this past summer.
