Thomas Henry Silvestri, 72, of McHenry and a former Oak Park resident, died on Aug. 13, 2014 at his home. Born on Oct. 13, 1941 in Chicago to Harry and Irene (Wieszczyk) Silvestri, he married Barbara Ann Blyth at St. Eulalia Church in Maywood on April 27, 1963. Mr. Silvestri was employed as an electrician for the Kelso-Burnett Co. for 43 years and was a member of IBEW Local 134. He enjoyed bowling, boating, and tinkering around the house and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago White Sox fan. 

Thomas Silvestri is survived by his children, Cheryl (Thomas) Cargie, Gregory (Christine) Silvestri, and Karyn Silvestri; his grandchildren, Greg (Amber), Joseph (Tiffiney), Michael, Zach, Ryan, Jennifer and John; and his great-grandchildren, Kylie, Aubrey, and Noah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Blyth. 

Friends can meet with the family from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry.
