Anne Sebesta (nee Mourek), 97, of Oak Park, died peacefully on July 31, 2014 with her son by her bedside. She was a resident of Oak Park’s Belmont Village for seven years after moving here from Sarasota, Florida. Born on July 18, 1917 in Chicago to Anton and Anna Mourek, she grew up in Cicero and was a 1934 graduate of Morton High School, then received a B.A. in Education from Northwestern University in 1941. She was very caring, gentle and kind to all with a tireless love for her family. She will be greatly missed. 

Anne Sebesta is survived by her sons, Gerald Jr. (the late Marsha) and Leonard (the late Dawn); her grandchildren, Lithe, Jameson (Dana) and Jeremy; her great-grandchildren, Nicky and Brooklyn; her siblings, Joseph, Elsie, George and Otto; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Sebesta, and her brother, Tony. 

Pursuant to her written instructions, there was no viewing, visitation or formal service. There was a private graveside interment.
