The Lake Theatre is a great place for kids all year-round, but the adult fare ebbs and flows. The best months are November through January when the Oscar hopefuls are released. Two more will arrive on Friday, Her and August: Osage County, the latter featuring the proverbial “star-studded cast,” including Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. Her is a Spike Jonze film starring Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams. Both are getting “Oscar buzz.”
Time to escape the winter and settle in for some armchair travel.
