Two Oak Park restaurants and one that is ever so close – on the south side of Roosevelt Road in Berwyn – were honored with Bib Gourmand designations from Michelin in results announced today.
The designation is for great food at affordable prices. Michelin defines that as a meal having two courses and either wine or dessert for less than $40.
Honored were Sen Sushibar, 814 S. Oak Park Ave.; Marion Street Cheese Market, 100 S. Marion St.; and Autre Monde Café, 6727 W. Roosevelt Road, Berwyn.
Crain’s reported that Chicago area restaurants earned a record number of Bib Gourmand designations this year with 69. That’s up five from year ago.
Sen and Marion Street Cheese Market are repeat winners.
