Jakob Eriksson spotted a pair of coyotes near his house at East Avenue and Superior Street Saturday morning. One of the coyotes was snacking on what appears to be a pheasant.
Sarah and Alex Hoffman grabbed this photo of a pheasant on their fence Sunday on the 500 north block of Elmwood Avenue.

During an unseasonably warm weekend Oak Park’s wildlife population seemed all but eager to pose for some extraordinary photos.
On Saturday morning Jakob Eriksson spotted a pair of coyotes in his yard near the corner of East Avenue and Superior Street. One of the coyotes was enjoying a breakfast of pheasant.
The next day on the 500 north block Sarah and Alex Hoffman grabbed this photo of – what one can only assume is – a different pheasant perched on their fence.
