Fenwick High School graduate (1996) and Oak Park native Erica Hanrahan has been named head softball coach at DePauw University.

Hanrahan, who coached Elmwood Park High School’s softball team to six regional championships and two sectional titles, served as an assistant coach at Boston College last season.  

The former Friar was a key member of Fenwick’s first senior class of females. In 1995 she was a member of the Chicago Tribune’s Top 100 high school softball players and went on to play at St. Peter’s College in New Jersey where she holds the third lowest ERA in school history of 2.20.
