We’ll wait patiently for our commission check now that the George W. Maher-designed Erwin Home has sold.
The magnificent home, located at 530 N. Euclid Ave. and previously owned by former NBC-5 news anchor Zoraida Sambolin (now at CNN) and her husband, was featured in the Homes section of Wednesday Journal back in January.
We’re sure the recent sale came based entirely on our story and not the fact that the original listing price of $1.8 million was substantially reduced to $1.34 million, in which it sold for.
The six-bedroom, five bath home was built in 1905 and underwent extensive renovations in 2004, after Sambolin and her husband purchased it for a measly $1 million.
The new owners are sure to enjoy the three-tier staircase and heated pool, while doling out over $30,000 per year on property taxes.
Welcome to the neighborhood!
