On behalf of Thrive Counseling Center, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the families on Bonnie Brae in River Forest and all the supporters of the 10th Annual “Kids Helping Kids” 9/11 Charity LemonAid Stand.
As the new president and CEO of Thrive Counseling Center, I am amazed by the creativity and dedication shown by the families on the 700 block of Bonnie Brae. It was inspiring to see the kids and community come together for such a meaningful cause.
I was also grateful for the generous support of community members and local organizations. The community helped raise more than $15,000 for our youth services, and we can’t thank them enough.
The money raised will support youth services, which include substance abuse prevention programs in local schools, 24/7 crisis support for youth, and general youth counseling.
I look forward to being part of such a special community.
