Opponents and proponents of the District 97 tax hike referendum will meet tonight at Irving School for another in a series of forums leading up to the April 5 vote. This event is co-sponsored by SEOPCO (South East Oak Park Community Organization) and Wednesday Journal.

Noel Kuriakos of the Citizens Alliance of Oak Park will speak in opposition to the tax hike. Carollina Song of the Committee to Support Oak Park Schools will speak in favor. Also on the panel is Peter Traczyk, president of the District 97 school board.
