The lawsuit pitting Oak Park’s village government and District 97 schools against OPRF High School continues with the schedule of chess moves — dismissal and counters — now stretching into early 2011. Meanwhile the private meetings between the parties, which we view with an increasingly jaundiced eye, continue without apparent progress.
It is well past time to settle this suit, respect taxpayers’ money and find genuine ways to collaborate.
