“The Wiz” is performed at the Dominican University Arts Center in a contemporary retelling of the classic, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. This musical performance is told in the context of African-American culture and promises to be a delight. The Emerald City includes various urban settings and features themes of rising above the expectations of others. It’s still one of the best stories ever about courage, brains, heart, and home.
