Are you wondering what to wear for a 4th of July party?  Is it possible to display your patriotism without looking like the American Flag?  You stylish readers know by now, that I am not a fan of 'themed dressing'; taking holiday apparel literally and adorning oneself in say, a Christmas sweater for example, or head to toe green on St. Patricks' Day.

I do believe it's fun and creative to put thought into the event you are attending and dress appropriately, stylishly and always in comfort.  For this Holiday and Summer dressing in general, think about breezy white garments, to be paired with navy or cobalt.  Then mix in coral, & orange accessories, or just a hint of red, and viola: you have yourself a chic Holiday outfit.

Checkout the cute ensemble from Trends: a white denim skirt from Loft, and printed peasant top, both $9.99; kenneth cole leather belt & Bernini wallet, $12.99 each.  I love the bright orange color of these pointy- toes slingbacks!

How about Takara's newest wrap day dress in cotton; the navy w/ white polka dots is simply stunning.  Pair it with a light weight, resin chain necklace in magenta, $34. and sleek raffia / leather clutch, $79.  Instant perfect outfit.

Chunky necklaces, in white & coral shades are unexpected accents, like these gorgeous beaded necklaces from local jewelry designer, Peggy Goodman, priced starting at $80.00 find them online: www.peggygoodman.com and read more about the collection in next weeks Blog.
