How about reminding contractors and landscapers that, by ordinance, they are not to start work before 8 a.m. I continually remind the neighbor’s lawn people (Juan Padilla) yet they always come early — 7:30 today and 7:15 last week. I have trouble sleeping and I’m older and if I have managed to fall back to sleep, the mowers go right under my bedroom window. Sure it’s only 10-20 minutes and they’re gone, but too much for me to go back to sleep and get the rest I need.
The funny thing is they were here last night and I was celebrating the fact that I would be able to sleep a little later. I don’t know why they didn’t mow last night. Now our new neighbor is doing a room addition, and they seem to start at 7 a.m. every day.
