I read with interest the viewpoint titled, “Confusion about the leaf-blower ban” The author shares a need to provide “friendly, neighborly” advice to “confused” neighbors in regard to recent updates to the village code. Perhaps, in tune with the Journal’s mission to address local issues, a weekly column could be added to serve as a reference for the truculent or ill-informed — along the lines of the columns of yesteryear, such as those written by Dear Abby or Ann Landers. A title such as “Village Code Karen” seems fitting.
