Oak Park Mayor Anan Abu-Taleb is hosting a town hall forum on Thursday, Dec. 3, and has invited Oak Park Township Supervisor David Boulanger as his guest speaker.

“The township is not always as visible to Oak Park residents as the village is,” Boulanger said in a press release announcing the forum. “And yet we provide a number of services to residents, especially to the more vulnerable among us.”

Abu-Taleb urged residents to come ready to discuss their concerns, such as criminal activity in the village and the Illinois Department of Transportation’s proposed installation of sound walls along the Eisenhower.

“I am looking forward to this opportunity to hear from residents about how we are doing,” he said.

The forum will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Veterans Room of the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St.
