In 2015, Calvary Memorial Church of Oak Park marks its 100-year anniversary. We celebrated with four days of special events earlier this month. All of the planning began just as I started my work as Calvary’s church administrator last fall, and I am writing to say a heartfelt and public thank-you to Village Clerk Teresa Powell for making the process much easier. 

Teresa was immensely helpful in assisting me with navigating all the necessary interaction with the village for our celebration’s events. We erected a very large tent on our campus for the weekend and she advised on the permitting process. 

We sponsored a charity 5K, and she was instrumental in coordinating all the village departments and services to make it successful. Even when I had a question about an item that was not part of her portfolio, she was kind enough to give me the complete contact information for the appropriate person, and even provide me with a preview of the eventual answer. 

Oak Park is very well served by Teresa Powell!
