Oak Park police said an unknown man wearing a Chicago Bulls hat handed a bank teller a note “implying he had a gun” at North Community Bank, 601 N. Harlem Ave. on Monday. He fled with approximately $3,000.
Police said the offender, described as a male Hispanic around 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a medium build jumped into a waiting vehicle of unknown make driven by a second offender, also Hispanic around 5-10 with a large build and black-framed glasses.
The vehicle headed eastbound on Erie Street around 4:45 p.m.
