Downtown Oak Park’s Art dans la Rue (Art in the Street) is back on Tuesday, August 5 from noon to 9 p.m. on Marion Street between Lake Street and North Blvd.

Art, outdoor cafe dining, wine tastings, music and dancing are just a few of the event highlights. You might even want to catch the First Tuesday Film Club’s showing of Umbrellas of Cherbourg at noon or 7 p.m. at Lake Theatre.

The street fair with French flair will also showcase the poodle parade (poodles are apparently optional, given last year’s motley crew of pooches) and host a sidewalk chalk contest where participating artists compete to win a $100 DTOP gift certificate.
