The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Metro Suburban Chapter, will offer two Family-to-Family Education Programs, a 12-week course for families of adult loved ones diagnosed with serious mental illness. 

When/Where: The classes are held at First Presbyterian Church in River Forest on Tuesday evenings, January 8- March 26, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm and at a Proviso location, Wednesday evenings, January 23-April 10 from 7:00 to 9:30pm.

Free Admission: These courses are free of charge and are taught by trained family members who have lived the experience. 

Course Topics: Include the major mental illnesses, treatments and medications, services available, communication and coping strategies.  Classes fill up quickly.
