The Fenwick High School boys 200 freestyle relay of Viken Huening, Tommy McGuire, Justin White, and Dan Kelly made the cut with a time of 1:25.56.  On the girls’ side, the 200 medley relay of Maggie Sheean, Haley Wickham, Mimi Schneider, and Maureen Barron (1:42.50) made the list, as did the 200 free relay of Schneider, Paulina Kaminski, Wickham, and Barron (1:34.04) and the 400 free relay. Kaminski (1:03.96) and Wickham (1:04.81) also made the list in the 100 breaststroke.

Schneider also qualified and competed in the Olympic Trials at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb., where she finished 66th in the 100 meter freestyle (56.94).

In other news, Fenwick water polo player Matt Farmer will also be competing with the USA Water Polo Men’s Junior National Team in Hungary and Italy in August. Farmer is the only player from the Midwest on the Junior National Team traveling to Europe this summer.
