The Oak Park YMCA’s swim team, TOPS (Team Oak Park Swim) boys, 8 and under, won the State Championship at the YMCA Illinois/Missouri State Meet.
The boys 8 and under team, coached by Beth Miller consisted of: Frank Tirone, Thomas Rotatori, Connor Sorg, and Toby West. The placed 1st, and earned gold medals in the 100 Relay for the Illinois/Missouri State Championship on Saturday, March 17th. The same team grabbed a silver, placing second in state in the 100 Medley Race.
All of TOPS competed well in this State Championship with the following results for the kids who finished in the top three:
