The OPRF wrestling team kept its win-streak alive and continued to solidify its status as the No. 1 team in the state by grabbing a dual victory and sweeping through a quad last week.
After clobbering Proviso West 66-9, the Huskies did the same to its opponents at the Libertyville Quad. OPRF walked away with a 56-9 win over St. Rita, a 52-21 win over Wheaton North and a 43-12 win over the host.
Matt Rundell (113-pound weight class), Larry Early (126), Cameron Harris (132), Jake O’Mara (138), Colin Rogers (145), Davonte Mahomes (152), Michael Woulfe (160), Joe Ariola (170) and Sam Brooks (182) all went undefeated at the quad.
The Huskies (13-0) host Lyons Township on Thursday (Jan. 12) before traveling to Iowa City for an invitational on Saturday.
