Thursday, June 30, is the last day to purchase vehicle stickers in Oak Park, without facing a fine.
Anyone who owns or rents a car and lives in Oak Park must have the little $50 sticker displayed on their windshield by midnight. Otherwise, you’ll have to pay a $20 late fee, and risk a $50 ticket, according to a village press release.
Stickers are available for purchase at village hall, 123 Madison, up until 5 p.m., but the village says to “expect long lines.” Returning residents can also buy them online at Oak-Park.us, at a 10 percent discount, but newcomers must come to village hall.
