OK, so it’s against the law in Oak Park to ride bikes on the sidewalk. Makes sense, considering sidewalks can get crowded. What seems ironic is that when I walk my bike on the sidewalk, other pedestrians for the most part don’t share it very well. Here’s an idea: How about nobody uses the sidewalk till we all learn better manners?

And another thing: If bicyclists must use streets, where are the bike lanes? What does Oak Park have against bicyclists?
