The man found dismembered in several garbage bags in an alley behind the 1000 block of Clarence Avenue on Wednesday morning died of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The victim, Rafael Ramirez, of the 2700 block of N. Nordica Ave. in Chicago, was found dead on his 28th birthday yesterday. He’d been reported missing on March 8.
Oak Park Police Commander Clemet Harbour said police are conducting a murder investigation.
