Dominican University presented the 28th Annual Trustees Benefit Concert on March 9. The gala event, which featured opera star Thomas Hampson in concert, raised $300,000, proceeds of which will go toward scholarships at the university. During the concert intermission, Dominican University President Donna Carroll presented the Bravo Award for extraordinary support of the arts to sisters Shirley Welsh Ryan, Marlene Welsh Phillips and the late Alice Welsh Skilling.
