To our friends and supporters:
With the holiday season upon us, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have offered so much assistance in our time of need. There is a saying that “a pain shared is a pain divided.” Thank you for sharing so much with us. Thank you for taking the time to cook for us, to care for us, and to offer emotional support and guidance for us. Thank you for talking to us even when it was difficult to find the words. Thank you for your best wishes, condolences, for your prayers and for your love when we needed it most.
The saying continues, “A joy shared is a joy multiplied.” From the enormous outpouring of support to which we have been witness, one thing is clear:
The depth to which she impacted those lives and the breadth of the community she has influenced has been made even more clear throughout these past months. We are reminded in your words and your deeds that one person can have a tremendous impact and that a little love, caring and compassion can ripple throughout an entire community. The joy Trisha brought to our lives is reflected and magnified by the joy that she brought to yours. From this we draw continued comfort, endless hope and renewed inspiration.
Happy holidays and God bless you all.
