Amazing Mom Make-over
Chicago Parent Magazine, back -to-school Mom Make-over!

By Suze Solari
This Summer, my co-Author Michele Bua Golden & I partnered with Chicago Parent Magazine to invite Moms all over Chicagoland to write in why they best deserve a Mom-make-over. We refuse to believe any mom is hopeless when it comes to fashion!
Willowbrook Mother of two, Melissa Alvarado's essay proved the clear winner amongst 250 applicants, stating "I'm afraid I'm an embarrassment to my children". She admitted to having the same hairstyle since high school, and having only bought herself clothes from Ebay in the past decade.
Melissa presented a perfect example to apply the principles in our new ebook The T Shirt & Jeans Handbook, sylish Upgrades for Your Daily Uniform. In it, we help moms make simple changes to their wardrobe to help them look and feel better in the basics of t-shirts & jeans.
We partnered w/ local shops Jayne & Madison Street Shoes, who supplied a shopping gift card of $200., & MacDaddy Salon which provided hair & make up, valued at $275. Styling services from my company, Suze Solari Style were also at work to pull the entire look together for our lovely mom, Melissa - who came to us with the additional challenge of helping all 6' - 4" of her!
"The make-over made me feel absolutely fantastic, and I learned so much!" Melissa was quoted as saying in the Chicago Parent feature & back to school issue. Armed with tips on fit & proportion, and some fantastic new jeans & accessories, we were more than impressed with her transformation, and very honored to be a part of the make-over.
The T Shirt & Jeans Handbook is available on Amazon, find it here: http://tinyurl.com/m7hfeyx, then download the ebook using the Kindle App.
