Besides the kid's cute cards made in final hours of school year (final hours of freedom for months) are you scrambling to uncover the perfect gift for Dear old Dad?

One does not need an excuse to wander into The Careful Peach, Oak Park; this is one of my favorite places to meander and become inspired.   I put together a thoughtful gift guide for Dad right now:

Always a crowd pleaser, a fabulous set of cufflinks using vintage typewriter keys, or antique and vintage coins. (European, American, and great Dutch East India Trading Company coins dating from the early 1700s)

Parfurm por Homme: men's fragrances courtesy of the newest line, Dr. Vranjes.  This Italian line is inspired by turn-of-the-century Europe, exotic scents sourced from Dr. Vranjes' silk trading grandfather's collection, and the architecture of Florence, Italy.

Edwin Jagger shave products, handmade in Sheffield, England.  Edwin Jagger is a family-owned shave company that utilizes traditional techniques to manufacture beautiful shaving equipment with an old-fashioned charm.  Shave sets (brush and razor with stand), shave bowls, aftershave lotions, and shave soaps are all available.

Gorgeous gifts abound at Careful Peach for Gardening Dad, Foodie Dad, and cards too of course, as well as vintage ephemera that would make perfect desk or study accessories for the Dad who has everything...
