Share in the Holiday spirit and attend the 14th Annual Holiday House Walk & Market. Presented by The Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society, this tradition kicks off the Festive season and supports funding for The Children's Clinic.
The Children's Clinic is a full service community supported health care facility providing medical, dental, literacy and social programs for children whose families are unable to afford the cost of private health care. Serving 50 communities through out Chicago's west side. The Clinic is sponsored by The Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society, celebrating it's 96th year of service.
The Children's Clinic services and programs reach out and touch thousands of lives annually; help support this very special place by participating in the Holiday House Walk and Market this Season.
This Seasonal event is one of the Clinic's biggest fund raisers; here is a line up of the fabulous events to get us into the Holiday spirit:
Sugar Plum Market Preview Party
Thursday, Nov. 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sponsored by Forest Park National Bank & Trust -Shop 'til you drop.
Be the first to purchase The Pick of the Plums from juried one of a kind specialty merchandise and gourmet food vendors before the Market opens to the public. Enjoy prizes, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
Holiday Housewalk
Friday, Nov. 30th: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday, Dec. 1st: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Two days: this year's Holiday Housewalk will be in picturesque Oak Park and River Forest. The tour begins with check-in at Concordia University Campus, in the Koehneke Center andcontinues through five beautiful, private homes.
Each home is decorated for the holidays and will feature "Chef Tastings" on Saturday afternoon from local favorites Maya Del Sol & Gaetano's.
The Market
Friday, 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Holiday Market will be held at Concordia University Campus, Koehneke Center.
This unique shopping experience will feature over 40 specialty vendorsoffering artistic and gourmet, one of a kind gifts. Including beautiful jewelry from local designers: Two Girls Gems & Peggy Goodman; handbags, belts, scarves and garments. In addition, a number of "Celebration Tables' have been put together with merchandise donated from our local merchants. There is truly something for everyone on your holiday gift list, and do good by supporting this very important charity.
Ticket Prices:
Housewalk ticket: $40 in advance, $45 at door
Market Only: $5
Preview Party: $15
