Oak Park native Cecily Strong made her debut appearance as a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live. She appeared on the “Weekend Update” segment as Get-Out-The-Vote Volunteer Mimi Morales. Her character had a difficult time being interviewed by Weekend Update host Seth Meyers because she was constantly being interrupted by her overly touchy Dominican boyfriend.
She also appeared in a new cast member video with Kenan Thompson where the pair struggled to come up with a comedy bit on short notice.
